the purpose of graphic design should be very logical. it is the use of images and words to commuinicate specific ideas.graphic design follows the basic principle of order. no matter how simple or complex, a project should always have a beginning a middle and an end, a top to a bottom, a left to a right, positive versus negative space. graphic design does not live by the principle of right and wrong. there are well executed solutions which enable a project to be successful and poorly executed solutions which force a project to languish. but most of all, no matter how well a project is designed, it is the purpose of a designer to help educate the client and in turn be relevant as well as educational to the public in affecting the human experience.
